How to Remove High and Low Scores on Scoresheet Tabulation

Objective:

To remove high and low scores on a scoresheet (i.e. Olympic Scoring) on Scoresheet Tabulation to ensure fair and accurate results.

Key Steps:

  1. Access the dashboard where scores are displayed in real-time.

  2. Identify the contestant for whom you need to remove high and low scores.

  3. Select the specific category or face of competition (e.g., interview).

  4. Click on "Edit Scores" for the chosen contestant.

  5. Provide a reason for editing scores to maintain transparency.

  6. Locate the lowest score for the contestant.

  7. Change the lowest score to zero for each judge's score.

  8. Repeat the process for all judges and contestants in each phase of competition.

  9. Click "Submit" to save the changes.

  10. Verify the new average scores for the contestant and adjust overall scores accordingly.

Cautionary Notes:

  • Ensure to document the reason for editing scores to avoid potential disputes.

  • Double-check that the correct scores are being changed to zero for accuracy.

  • Be cautious not to mistakenly alter scores for the wrong contestant or judge.
