What are specialty pageants?

Specialty pageants are niche pageants within the industry that require a contestant to have special qualifications in order to participate. 

Examples of specialty pageants are: 

  • Ethnicity: [Black, Asian, Native American, Hispanic]
  • Sexual Preference: [ Gay, Transgender]
  • Medical Condition: [Cancer, Albino, Wheelchair]
  • Appearance: [Plus size, Height]
  • Animal: [Dog pageant, Camel pageant]
  • Sport: [ie Scuba, Physique, Bodybuilding]

To add a Speciality Pageant:

1. Log in to your account

2. Click the person icon in the upper right corner

3. Click Dashboard

4. Click "Manage" on the pageant you would like to add a specialty to.

5. Select "Rules" from the dropdown menu.

6. Choose Edit Rules

7. Click "Yes" for Are You a Specialty Pageant? Screen_Shot_2020-07-15_at_8.23.02_AM.png

8. After clicking "Yes," select the type of specialty pageant the system is.

9. Scroll down and click Submit.
