How to Mass Upload Contestants

Objective:

To efficiently upload multiple contestants onto pageantplanet.com for a specific age division event.

Key Steps:

  1. Log in to pageantplanet.com and navigate to "My Dashboard."

  2. Ensure that a pageant profile is created to upload contestants.

  3. Click on the pageant and event where contestants will be added.

  4. If the event is not visible, click on "Add New Event."

  5. Click on "Add Contestants" and select the age division.

  6. Choose "Upload Multiple Contestants" and download the provided spreadsheet template.

  7. Fill in contestant details in the spreadsheet, ensuring accurate file naming for headshots.

  8. Save the completed spreadsheet and upload it back on the website.

  9. Review and upload contestant images, ensuring correct file naming and no extra spaces.

  10. Click "Save" to complete the upload process.

Cautionary Notes:

  • Do not upload multiple age divisions on one spreadsheet 

  • Remove any sample or placeholder data from the spreadsheet before uploading.

  • Double-check file naming and content accuracy to avoid errors during upload.

  • Manually add any rejected contestants.

Tips for Efficiency:

  • Save time by organizing contestant data before starting the upload process.

  • Keep track of age divisions and upload contestants separately for each division.
